A few days ago I went to the movies to watch Bohemian Rhapsody. I had been wanting to watch it. I hadn't known much about Queen before, but the movie looked interesting and I wanted to watch it. I thought "maybe I'll watch it when it comes out in DVD". A couple of days after that my sister came home saying she watched it and it was really good and my older sister too. Then, a few days after that, we had seen that T-Mobile offered us a discount to the movies. This meant we could go watch a movie for $3 each. We chose to watch Bohemian Rhapsody.
The movie was very moving and I really enjoyed it. I would say it's one of my favorite movies now. Through the movie I got to learn about the band and the members, especially Freddie Mercury. My younger sister cried many times and I teared up a bit. In the movie they showed at least one song for each band member that they contributed greatly in writing. I had no idea that Queen wrote a lot of those songs that I had liked, like Another One Bites the Dust and Under Pressure. I also got to learn more of their songs that I ended up liking like Love of My Life and Killer Queen. I thought the only song I would know in the movie was Bohemian Rhapsody, but I was wrong, Queen had written a lot of great songs I already knew.
I would recommend this movie to anyone. It was inspiring and pulls at your heartstrings. It also teaches you a lesson and I believe many people can relate to it. Freddie had many struggles in his life, often feeling lonely and left out. He struggled with his sexuality, love life, and his friends/band mates.
