Autism Awareness

Autism is a serious disorder that hinders the ability to communicate and interact. It is also called autism spectrum disorder. This disorder is pretty common in the US with 200,000 cases per year. This disorder can't be cured, but there is treatment that can aid. It can be lifelong. It affects the ages of three to sixty the most and males are affected the most. National Autism Awareness Month starts on April 1st and ends on April 31st. Many people don't know about Autism Awareness month and more people should be aware of it. I hope this goes around more and more people learn about autism. I believe more people should know how it works and should think about how these people feel and learn to understand them more.

I have a cousin with autism and I've learned that it's not easy, for him or his parents.
