my favorite kind of music

What is my favorite kind of music? I, honestly, do not have an answer to this question. I never know how to answer when I get asked this question because my favorite genre of music is pretty diverse, I would say. I once had an iPod with music from different places around the world such as English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, and German. Not only is the language different, but the genres are very diverse to. They range from rap and hip hop to rock to classical music to jazz.

One of my more common responses to "What kind of music do you like?" is "Old music" and I realize that can be anything, depending on what is old to you, but what I mean ranges from old pop songs from the 90's to rock music from the 80's to Mexican oldies from the 60's. For this reason, I've been called an old soul. However, I also enjoy some modern music of now, which is like J Cole, BTS, Kali Uchis, Sia, and many more. Some of my music might be considered odd or underrated, since I seem to like a lot of music that many people don't even know about. My favorite kind of music can't be tied to one genre secifically, but I really enjoy that about my taste in music because I can talk to more people about musical artists. I have a larger chance of knowing an artist someone speaks about.
