my favorite rock band

My favorite rock band is Arctic Monkeys. Arctic Monkeys, often times, isn't referred to as a rock band, because their genre isn't "pure" rock. They play Indie Rock, Garage Rock, and Post-Punk Revival, with inspiration from other genres. Arctic Monkeys is an English band from Sheffield, formed in 2002. The members of the band are: Alex Turner (the lead singer and guitarist), Matt Helders (drummer and vocalist), Nick O'Malley (bassist and vocalist), and Jamie Cook (lead guitarist). So far they've had six albums, including: Whatever People Say I Am That's What I'm Not, Favorite Worst Nightmare, Humbug, Suck It and See, AM, and Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.

I like them because I've listened to them since I was a child, because of my older siblings. It brought me much nostalgia when I listened to them years after, and I ended up really liking them. Personally, my favorite albums are Favorite Worst Nightmare and AM. I like how they have a different sound every album, it appeals to many. An admirable part, is that they write their own lyrics. Their lyricism has sophistication and it has such nice imagery.

They've been making music for a very long time, and they recently released an album. I've always wanted to to a concert to see them. They may not be widely recognized, but I still think thy're great. Indie and Alternative music don't seem to get as much recognition. I wonder why. Here are some of my favorite lyrics from Arctic Monkeys songs:
