V-day

Today is Valentines day and guess what? Plenty of people don't have a partner, but that's okay, you're not alone if you don't have a partner. My parents who were born and raised in Mexico call V-day, "el dia del amor y la amistad." This translates to "the day of love and friendship. I feel like here in the US many people only think about the romantic aspect of it and not the love part. It's the day of love and love doesn't necessarily mean romantic love. It can be friendship or family love. So, spend some time with loved ones. If that's your partner, go ahead, but if it's your best friend, that's fine to. Even if it's your cousins or parents or siblings, it's all love. Love is in the air today and it's a time to be grateful for all the love you receive and share some of your love.

Don't be afraid to confess to the one today and if they say no, so be it. It probably wasn't meant to be. Have faith and you will receive that romantic love if you're supposed to, but if you're not, then you will receive love in other ways. So, be hopeful and romantic today. Be grateful and say "Happy Valentines Day" to those you love.
